1. Scope of application:

1.1 It is suitable for judging and evaluating the ability of vertically installed bundled wires and cables or optical cables to inhibit the vertical spread of flames under specified conditions.

3. Main parameters:

3.1 Composition of the instrument:

The machine is divided into three parts: combustion box, electric control box, spray purification box.

3.1.1 The exhaust port of the combustion box is located at the top of the chassis, which can effectively discharge the exhaust gas at a uniform speed, and there are several air intake holes at the bottom to ensure the oxygen content in the box during the test.

3.1.2 There is a water spray device on the top of the combustion box. When the sample burns for a specified time (1H), the power can be turned on to forcibly extinguish the flame.

3.1.3 A door is installed on the front of the combustion box, and there is a high temperature resistant tempered glass window on the door, which can observe the indoor test situation at any time.

3.2 Test Chamber:

Self-supporting box with width (1000±100) mm, depth (2000±100) mm and height (4000±100) mm. The front and back and both sides of the test box are filled with thermal insulating mineral wool with "mullite thermal insulating fiber" (domestic materials and limited filling tightness, can not guarantee 0.7W.m-2.K-1 transmission conditions), the inner box 1.5mm thickness, 304# stainless steel, the outer box can be electrostatically sprayed with steel plate according to customer needs;

3.2.1 A thermocouple device is installed on the inner wall of the box to confirm the internal temperature of the box before the test;

3.2.2 The smoke hood is installed directly above the smoke outlet of the combustion chamber, 200mm~400mm higher than the smoke outlet of the combustion chamber, the longest side is parallel to the longest side of the smoke outlet, and the minimum size of the bottom surface is 1500mm x 1000mm.

3.2.3 Air and smoke mixing baffle: There is a smoke collecting chamber connected to the smoke exhaust pipe above the smoking hood. In order to fully mix the air in the smoking hood with the smoke, an air and smoke Air mixing baffle.

3.2.4 Smoke exhaust device: all the gas generated during the test is exhausted through the exhaust pipe. Under the condition of normal pressure and 25°C, the smoke exhaust capacity of the system is greater than 1m3/s

3.2.5 Test termination mechanism: If the sample fails to self-extinguish after stopping the fire for one hour, use a manual sprinkler to stop burning

3.2.6 Cleaning device: equipped with high-pressure water spray gun to facilitate cleaning in the combustion chamber after the test.
