Proper material sequence is critical for mixing efficiency. Raw rubber is added first, followed by carbon black. Once carbon black is adequately dispersed, liquid softener is introduced. This sequence enhances kneading effectiveness, reduces mixing time, and minimizes energy consumption. Sulfur and accelerators are typically added late in the cycle or on the tablet press to prevent scorching. Small additives are introduced after raw rubber but before carbon black.
