Plasticizing Process Explanation

The open mill converts high elastic raw rubber into plasticized rubber through the shearing and squeezing action of two counter-rotating rollers. This process breaks the original macromolecular chains, reducing elasticity and improving plasticity for subsequent manufacturing steps.

Primary plasticizing methods include the wrap-roll plasticizing method and thin-pass plasticizing method.
