Rubber Low-Temperature Brittleness Tester
1. Overview
This rubber low-temperature brittleness tester is used to evaluate and determine the adaptability of electrical, electronic, automotive electrical, and material products under low-temperature storage and usage conditions. It is suitable for schools, factories, military units, research institutions, and other organizations.
Usage Method
Five specimens are fixed on the suspension fixture and immersed in the low-temperature bath. A rotating pendulum hammer strikes the specimens at a constant speed to check whether they crack.
The rubber low-temperature brittleness tester measures the highest temperature at which vulcanized rubber specimens break under impact under specified conditions (i.e., the brittle temperature). It can evaluate the brittle temperature and low-temperature performance of different rubber materials or formulations. This instrument employs compressor refrigeration, ensuring minimal temperature fluctuation, and uses pneumatic impact control. All technical indicators comply with the requirements of the national standard GB/T1682.

3. Structural Principle
3.1 The lifting clamp consists of a clamp-mounted cylinder and a cylinder base.
3.2 The impact device comprises an impactor and an impact cylinder.
3.3 The impactor weighs 200 ± 20g, with a working stroke of 40 ± 1mm. When the impact cylinder is in the reset position, the distance from the impactor end to the specimen is 25 ± 1mm.
