Air Exchange Rate Test for Air Exchange Aging Test Chamber
Test Procedure
1. Seal all ventilation holes, doors, thermometer holes, and gaps around the blower (most surfaces can be effectively sealed with pressure-sensitive tape). Connect a standard watt-hour meter to the aging chamber's power system.
2. Control the working chamber temperature of the aging test chamber to 80±2℃ above the ambient temperature. The temperature inside the working chamber is measured from the central test point. The ambient temperature is measured 2m away from the aging chamber, at least 1m away from other surrounding objects, at a position nearly level with the aging chamber's air inlet.
3. When the temperature at the test point in the working space first reaches the control temperature and stabilizes for 2 hours, measure the electrical energy consumed by the aging chamber within 60 minutes.
4. Remove all seals, open the air exchange port, and follow the methods described in Article 2 and Article 3 to measure the electrical energy consumed by the aging chamber within 60 minutes (if the air exchange rate does not meet the specified range, readjust the ventilation opening).
Calculation of Test Results
5. Using the measured temperatures inside the chamber and the ambient temperature when the aging test chamber's air exchange port is sealed or open, calculate the arithmetic averages respectively. Convert the measured electrical energy consumption into average power.
N = 3590 • (P2 - P1) / V • d • △T
Where: N ----- Air exchange rate, times/hour;
P1 ---- Average electrical power consumed when sealed, W;
P2 ---- Average electrical power consumed when open, W;
△T --- Difference between the arithmetic average of the temperature inside the chamber and the ambient temperature, ℃;
V ---- Working chamber volume, L;
d ----- Density of air at the surrounding ambient temperature, g/L.
The calculation result of the above formula should meet the following requirements:
Air Exchange Rate
Forced convection type: Divided into two types, up to 100 times/hour; 100 ~ 200 times/hour should be adjustable.
