Bench-Top Type UV Aging Test Chamber simulates the damaging effects of sunlight and rain on materials. Using UV lamps to simulate sunlight and water spray systems to simulate rain, this equipment accelerates material aging to predict long-term outdoor performance in just days or weeks.
Main Functions
The UV QUV test machine uses UV lamps to simulate sunlight effects and water spray systems to simulate rain. Typical test cycles include UV radiation at high temperatures and 100% humidity in dark conditions. Commonly used for paint, coatings, automotive components, plastic products, wood products, adhesives, and more.

Main Features
1. Simulated Sunlight
Material durability damage is primarily caused by the sun's ultraviolet rays. UV lamps simulate the short-wave ultraviolet portion of sunlight with minimal visible or infrared spectral energy. Different UV lamp wavelengths can be selected based on testing requirements.
2. UV Lamp Types
  • UVA-340 Lamp: Excellently simulates short-wave UV light in sunlight from 365nm to 295nm cutoff wavelength
  • UVB-313 Lamp: Provides stronger short-wave UV radiation than natural sunlight for accelerated material aging, primarily used for quality control and R&D
  • UVA-351 Lamp: Simulates UV sunlight through windows, most effective for testing indoor material aging
3. Temperature Control
Temperature can be precisely controlled at set values throughout each cycle. Higher temperatures accelerate aging processes while ensuring test reproducibility.
4. Water Spray System
Water spray better simulates end-use environmental conditions, effectively replicating thermal shock and mechanical erosion caused by temperature changes and rainfall. The system features 12 nozzles (6 on each side) that can run for minutes then shut down, creating rapid cooling and thermal shock conditions.
5. Irradiation Intensity Control
Optional light intensity control allows precise setting of different test requirements. The feedback loop device ensures accurate light intensity control while extending fluorescent lamp life.
