The mask synthetic blood penetration tester is designed to measure the synthetic blood spatter penetration performance of medical masks and other protective materials. This instrument is suitable for use by medical inspection departments, safety inspection departments, and scientific research units.
The medical mask sample is supported on the test device, and 2 mL of synthetic blood is sprayed from a cannula with an inner diameter of 0.84 mm in a horizontal direction toward the mask at a distance of 300 mm. This simulates scenarios where masks are exposed to blood spray from perforated blood vessels.
The penetration of synthetic blood on the opposite side of the mask is observed and recorded. Medical mask samples are tested at liquid ejection speeds of 450 cm/s, 550 cm/s, and 635 cm/s, with test results recorded for each injection speed.
