Product Overview

The ZL-3014C PLC Melt Flow Indexer is designed to determine the melt mass-flow rate (MFR) and melt volume-flow rate (MVR) of thermoplastic materials. This precision instrument meets international standards including GB/T3682-2000, ASTM D3364, ASTM D1238-98, JB/T5456, and ISO 1133.

Applications

This instrument features automated sampling and precise measurement capabilities. For MFR determination, cut samples are weighed using a balance, while MVR measurement utilizes displacement transducers and automatic timing systems to calculate flow rates. Results are displayed on the PLC screen and can be printed or exported via computer.

Suitable for testing a wide range of engineering plastics including:

  • High melt temperature plastics: PC, FI plastics, nylon
  • Low melt temperature plastics: PE, PP, POM, PS, ABS resin, poly carbonic acid ester

Widely used in plastic fabrication, plastic goods manufacturing, petrochemical industry, educational institutions, research institutes, and commodity inspection departments.
