Ball Screw Foam Indentation Force Deflection Tester

This precision testing machine measures the concave hardness of porous elastic materials including polyurethane sponge foam. Designed to comply with national standards, it accurately determines the hardness of sponge, foam, and similar materials, as well as the specified indentation hardness of manufactured seat foam components.

Testing Principle

The foam compressive stress test positions samples between upper and lower platens. The upper platen compresses the sample at a predetermined speed to achieve the concavity specified by national standard methods (A, B, or C). A load element senses pressure and feeds back to the controller for processing and display, enabling precise measurement of material indentation hardness.
